Canthros has found a new home. He told me that it’s a temporary arrangement, but I changed my PHP version for him anyway. ;)

(Hmm… This will take some careful phrasing… Best turn back now if you’re likely to become offended by juvenile humor. Go shoo the kids off your lawn instead.)
I’ve been meaning to try some Bawls, but I haven’t found any Bawls recently, so I’ve been questing for some in the area. I know I can buy Bawls in bulk over the internet, but I wanted to get one or two first to see if I like them. Unfortunately, the only place I could find that had Bawls closes on Monday evenings, so I was foiled. However, my lack of Bawls was no reason to get my panties in a wad — just a few blocks away, I found a guy who can help if you get bent out of shape!
So, the trip wasn’t a loss. Maybe I’ll stop by 7-Eleven tomorrow morning and see if there are any Bawls hanging around there.
update 2005.05.24 @23:25 None at 7-11.
None at either of my grocery stores.
This is getting depressing. Off to a new coffee shop tomorrow night!
Just saw (most of) this last night, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Even the re-written parts. I, for one, think it’s appropriate that the story turned from sardonic to optimistic at about the same time that DNA moved from England to Santa Barbara. :)
I did miss a bit of the middle, which caused me to lose some of the plot. The theater’s sound started going crazy (I’m DTS! No, Stereo! No, DTS! No, Mono! No, DTS! No, Nothing! No, no, no, no, ha! Ha ha! Ha ha hahahahaha!), and after it didn’t sort itself in 10 minutes or so, I realized that all this 30 screener’s staff were probably tied up in crowd control around the 10 screens that were showing Star Wars. So I had a bit of a hike, and in another 10 minutes they had it fixed. So I missed a bit… :( I decided that, since we were there on K’s free movie vouchers from her DSL company, and since the theater staff were probably already going nuts with the Star Wars Hordes, and since I enjoyed the film so much regardless, and since K’s already agreed that we will own the DVD ASAPInstead of having a proper lunch, I decided to have some nachos and get some photos with the new camera around the back of our building.
Found a few surprising subjects to photograph.Wow! A long-form, almost-English review of this cool toy. Sadly, the review falls into the myrid traps of lame humor-via-condescension and topical wanderlust, but it certainly answered all my questions.
